Research

The Geração 21 project is developed by the Faculdade de Medicina (FMUP) and the Instituto de Saúde Pública (ISPUP) da Universidade do Porto and is the first population-based birth cohort in Portugal. Besides the several specific objectives, Geração 21 focuses on the study of fetal and childhood determinants in the development of obesity and bodily composition.
